Application form for 2009 10 Years Younger in Burlington

If you would like to be the one who undergoes the 10 Years Younger in Burlington transformation this year, you need to apply. The application form can be downloaded from here.

Completed application forms must be received at Advanced Rejuvenation Medical Spa by noon on Monday, April 27th, 2009.

Sorry, application forms cannot be accepted after this deadline.

If you know someone who would benefit from a 10 Years Younger transformation, please forward the link to this article to them and tell them to apply.

You need to be available for interviews in the week of April 27th. We expect to finalize our selection by the end of the week and start the transformation the following week.

This week we will be making an announcement about the Spring 2009 Ten Years Younger in Burlington project.

This is Catherine’s speech from the Reveal Party. I apologise in advance for the video quality but you can hear what she has to say perfectly well.

The Reveal Party was hosted by Kaareli’s Restaurant and Wine Bar. The owner, Anna, laid on a very tasty spread of appetizers, including a bruschetta that disappeared quickly, hummous, shrimps, smoked salmon on toast with capers and several other delicacies.

Some friends of ours are arranging a wine-tasting evening at Kaareli’s and found the prices very reasonable.

All of the attendees at the Reveal Party agreed that they would come back for lunch or dinner because we all enjoyed Kaareli’s so much.

Now you can see what we were getting so excited about. These are photographer Melanie Gillis‘ pictures so, admittedly, they are much more beautiful than all of the medical or amateur shots we’ve been showing you so far. Catherine is unretouched in these images.

Catherine lost 15 pounds and 15 inches! WOW!

What does Catherine look like now?

We’re getting set to unveil Catherine on Wednesday, June 11th, 2008 at Kaareli’s Restaurant and Wine Bar.

We had the photoshoot for the after pictures last week at Melanie Gillis’ studio. Melanie showed us the before pictures at the same time. We’d all forgotten what Catherine looked like at the beginning. What a transformation!

I know you’re dying to see the before and after pictures and we’ll start posting them here on Thursday the 12th. You’ll also be able to see Catherine’s pictures in person here at Advanced Rejuvenation.

After the reveal party, we’ll be able to go into more detail about the procedures that Catherine had done, why they were done and what her results were so check back with this site to learn more about how specific treatments make you look 10 years younger.

Catherine’s month of transformation

Catherine’s month-long transformation is officially over.

We will be unveiling the new Catherine on Wednesday, June 11th at Kaareli’s Restaurant and Wine Bar.

I’d like to be able to invite everyone to the reveal party but space is limited so here is how it is going to work: as we get closer to the date, we’ll know how many invitations we can give away. If you would like to be at the unveiling, contact us at Advanced Rejuvenation Medical Spa at 905-340-0401 to get on the waiting list.

We will accommodate as many people as the Fire Marshall allows so I encourage you to get on the waiting list if you would like to see it all live.

Come and see Catherine at the Summer Sizzle

On Saturday, May 31st, Catherine will be participating in the Cedar Springs Pharmacy Summer Sizzle at the Cedar Springs Health Racquets and Sports Club, located at 960 Cumberland Ave in Burlington, ON.

Her one-month transformation is almost complete and she is certainly looking younger, fitter and more radiant.

Catherine started running in January of this year, running for only 1 minute and walking for 1 minute, and gradually built herself up. This will be the fourth race she has run since then. She sets an amazing example for us all.

If you would like to participate in the 5k or 8k races tomorrow, you can register between 8 am and 9:30 am at the health club. The races start at 9:30 am.

New additions to 10 Years Younger … in Burlington! team

10 Years Younger … in Burlington! has been generating so much excitement and support that we are able to make it an even better package than we originally thought.

We now have a specialty bra-fitting store on board, Bocana Boutique. They have beautiful clothes, cruisewear, swimwear, lingerie and shoes in addition to bras ranging in size from 32AA to 46H.

See the article below for tips on making sure your bra fits properly — most women’s don’t! Studies have shown that 50 – 90% of women are wearing the wrong bra size. No wonder we don’t like our bras!

Bocana will be providing Catherine with a custom-fitted bra.

And once you find a beautiful bra that fits, you might head over to our other new team member, photographer Melanie Gillis. In addition to beautiful family portraits, she does absolutely gorgeous glamour and erotica shots.

You can check out her portfolio on her website. I guarantee you’ll be sorely tempted to have her photograph you in your new bra, and you’ll walk away from the experience loving your body.

Catherine’s makeover: Skin analysis

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The images above are Catherine’s daylight and UV photos. This is the first step in a consultation at Advanced Rejuvenation Medical Spa. Don’t worry! We all look dead in our UV photos!

The daylight photo shows what is visible on the surface and the UV penetrates more deeply to show the damage that is not yet visible. On the daylight photo, we can see that Catherine has some sun damage (brown spots) but on the UV, there is a lot more below the surface.

Catherine also has a lot of redness in her face, particularly across the cheeks and the bridge of the nose. This pattern raises the question of rosacea ( and a few other things) so I will be sure to ask her about symptoms when I see her.

Her skin generally has a dull, rough texture.

She has lines in the frown area, across her forehead, above her lips and running down her cheeks. We see evidence of loss of volume in her cheeks and lips.

We have great treatments for all of these issues. In my next post, I will talk about the specific treatments that we are giving to Catherine.
